The A5/A6 motorways connect large areas of the Rhine-Neckar region via exits and connecting trunk roads. The A5/A656 motorways have direct exits to Heidelberg.
Please bear in mind the low-emission zone for cars and buses in Heidelberg:
Vehicles with a red, yellow or green emissions sticker are permitted in the low-emission zones. From January 1, 2013, only vehicles with a green sticker can drive without restrictions within the low-emission zones.
